S. Brooke Shank, DDS, MS
After my orthodontist worked what seemed to be a mini-miracle on my smile, I knew I wanted to have the same effect on others as my orthodontist had on me. I want to help each person find the confidence and self-esteem that comes with having a beautiful smile. I love watching my patients transform from children who are self-conscious about their teeth to confident teens and adults who love to smile.
Having the ability to achieve a beautiful smile means something different for everyone. I love learning each patient’s story, and finding ways to become involved in their lives, whether it is supporting their favorite charity, cheering for them at one of their sporting events, or being someone who will listen to them when times are rough. Working with such different and varied people definitely keeps life interesting!

Outside the Office
My husband, Kyle, is a general dentist at Shank Center for Dentistry, which serves the Indianapolis, Southport, and Greenwood area. We have a six year-old miniature Schnauzer named Starbuck. When I have free time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, cooking for friends, playing soccer, and watching hockey, soccer, and Colts football. My husband and I are involved with our church, which has community outreach programs to help those in need. Giving back to those who are less fortunate is very important to us. My husband and I are passionate about going on dental mission trips to third-world countries to help those who don’t have access to dental care.
